Quick Information
- This year’s Summer Reading theme is Level Up at Your Library!
- Sign up week will start May 26th and continue throughout Summer Reading
- Summer Reading begins officially on June 2nd, and so will prize pick up! You can’t get prizes earlier than June 2nd. The logging period runs from early-June to July 19th.
- Challenges are available for Children, Tweens, Teens, and Adults. Those aged 13 may choose to participate in both the Children’s and Teen reading programs, and those aged 18 may participate in Teen and Adult programs

Summer Reading Kick Off!
Summer Reading Kick Off! Come to the library June 2nd, for a all ages game day! There will be games galore, mini figure painting, refreshments, and more! All ages welcome.
Teen Summer Programming
TEENS! Come Play Mini Golf: A golf course made completely out of things around the library – books, book ends, etc. Teens can register to play mini golf Saturday, June 14th from 12PM-1:30PM. Sign up!
Life-Size Clue for Teens! Teens can dress up as different characters and play this classic game of CLUE, but in real life! Wednesday, June 25th 4-6:30. Sign up!
Teen Movie Night! Teens sign up to watch one movie, or both. They can eat pizza and relax. Saturday, July 19th 11:30AM and/or 2PM. Sign up!
Summer Reading Finale!
Jigsaw Puzzle Competition: Wednesday, July 16th 5-6:30 PM. Teams of 1-5 people will compete to see who can finish their 500-piece puzzle first within the allotted time (1.5 hours). The winning team will receive gift cards to local businesses. Email nyoung@awlindsey.com for questions. Sign up!
Teen Prizes
Prizes for Summer Reading are won when you log your reading time on Beanstack. You get a new prize per hour read – read six hours, win all the items on the list. Grand prizes are earned by getting tickets, which go into a drawing at the end of July. You get tickets by reading and attending programs!

- Prize One: Pixel Duck + Maze Pen
- Prize Two: Perler Bead Craft
- Prize Three: 3 Pack of Card Games
- Prize Four: Mini Lite Brite
- Prize Five: Minecraft Plush
- Prize Six: Full-Size Board Game
Grand Prize List for Teens:
- Tabletop Game of Your Choosing: Any board game or tabletop-related paraphernalia, like DND for example, of your choosing under $50.
- Outside Game of Your Choosing: Any classic outdoors game, from cornhole to pickleball rackets, under $50.
- Video Game of Your Choosing: Any video game you want for whatever console type – the game has to be under $50.
