Our take on subscription boxes;
the Cultivated Collection Box.
Have you ever heard of a Subscription Box? A Subscription Box is a service that sends you one box per month or quarter. The box is filled with goodies (related to the company or theme) that are handpicked for you, based on preference quizzes you fill out at sign-up.
That got us thinking….what about a LIBRARY subscription box? A box that offers a craft kit, one title (already checked out to you), word searches & puzzles, reading suggestions & challenges, bookmarks, library swag, and other literary goodies? And here’s the best part – it’s free!
When do I register, and when do I receive the box?
Each month, registration will open on the first business day and close on the 20th. You will then pick up your box during the first business week of the following month. You do not receive a box at the time of registration. For example, to receive January’s box, you must sign up between December 1st – 20th. Pick-up for the January box will be available January 2nd-6th.
Registration will be available online at awlindsey.com/box. There will be a limited supply of boxes available each month, so sign up quickly! Wait lists will be available, and those wait-listed may receive a box if a registrant does not retrieve theirs during pick-up week. There are no early registrations for future boxes, so make sure you keep an eye out for when each sign-up sheet is released!

What are my box & goodies options?
Each month, our offerings will differ! You can select the craft and type of material you would like. Titles can be graphic novels, DVDs, audiobooks, in addition to regular print books.
Just make sure you complete your Preferences Quiz so we know exactly what type of media you prefer, and to help us decide on different crafts to offer.
What do I need to register, and what happens after I do?
To register, simply fill out the registration form found online. You will need your library card number. If the list is full, waiting lists are available in the event of extra supplies or forgotten pick-ups.
After you are done with your box, simply return the library materials by their due date. The box, crafts, and goodies are yours to keep!
If you would like to be eco-friendly and return your white box (in good condition only please), you may bring it back to the library. Do not return the white box in the book drop, this will cause it to jam and damage the box.

Who can sign up?
Any Anne West Lindsey District Library active cardholder that is between the ages of 13 to 114!
Active means your card is active – please make sure your registration has not expired, and your information is up-to-date. Non-resident cards: those who have a non-resident card belonging to the Anne West Lindsey library may register. Those who have a card through another library but primarily utilize the Anne West Lindsey library are unfortunately ineligible at this time.
The cardholder will be responsible for returning the materials, and any late fees accrued.
